Verifying Eligibility: The Prerequisite for Examination β
To uphold the rigorous standards and integrity of this professional certification scheme, all applicants must first satisfy clear prerequisite requirements before proceeding to the examination. As mandated by our accreditation procedures, candidates are required to submit comprehensive documentation proving identity, relevant academic qualifications, and verifiable professional experience applicable to the scheme's scope. This critical initial step ensures that only individuals who have established the foundational competence defined within each specific scheme are eligible for assessment.
The Rigorous Two-Part Certification Examination π
Our professional certification process is designed to ensure both practical ability and foundational expertise, structured into two distinct, high-integrity parts:
Part 1: Validating Applied Professional Skills (Job Skills) π οΈ
This critical component focuses on applied competence, covering the essential principles and advanced requirements necessary to execute the profession with high efficiency and technical rigor (e.g., Lead Auditor, Manager, Consultant). This assessment measures the candidateβs ability to utilize the specific standards and methodologies detailed within the approved schemeβensuring the candidate can effectively practice the profession at the required level of excellence.
Part 2: Assessing Foundational Management System Knowledge (Professional Knowledge) π§
This part assesses the candidate's depth of foundational knowledge in a specific Management System Standard. The applicant selects one standard from the list embedded in our accreditation schemes (for example, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22000, etc.). This examination confirms the candidate possesses the requisite technical mastery of the chosen standard's requirements, which is crucial for the effective execution of their certified role.
Examination Logistics and Integrity Protocols π‘οΈ
Exam Format and Duration
The certification examination is a standardized assessment consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The test is administered over a strict two-hour duration and can be taken either online (remote proctored) or offline (in a supervised setting).
Strict Monitoring and Integrity
To maintain the highest level of assessment integrity, the examination is fully monitored (proctored) in both online and offline formats. Strict adherence to academic honesty is mandatory: communication with others or the use of external notes and unauthorized materials is strictly prohibited.
Passing Threshold
To achieve certification, candidates must demonstrate the required level of competence by attaining a minimum passing score of 70% within the allotted two-hour examination time.
Flexibility for Additional Certifications
Candidates seeking supplementary certifications are not required to retake any part (Part 1 or Part 2) of the examination if they have already successfully passed it in a previous scheme. This recognizes validated prior competence and accelerates the path to additional credentials.
Retake Policy (First Attempt Assurance)
To ensure fairness, applicants are granted one complimentary retake attempt following a failure in their initial examination for any given part. This free retrial is designed to provide candidates with an assured second opportunity for success.
