At Accent-TS, we view energy not just as a cost, but as a strategically managed resource. We are proud to be ISO 50001 certified, the internationally recognized standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an Energy Management System (EnMS).
This certification is proof of our systematic commitment to continuously improve our energy performance, which translates directly into cost savings, reduced environmental impact, and a reliable foundation for long-term sustainability.
What ISO 50001 Means for Our Clients
- Cost Efficiency & Stability: You benefit from a partner that actively minimizes operational overhead. By systematically identifying and reducing energy waste, we secure lower operating costs, which helps us maintain competitive pricing and stability in the face of fluctuating energy markets.
- Reduced Environmental Footprint: Our certification is a demonstration of tangible action on sustainability. By improving our energy efficiency, we are actively and measurably reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and contributing to climate protection.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Our EnMS requires us to collect, measure, and analyze energy usage data. This means every decision related to our operations, from procurement to facility design, is based on facts and measured performance indicators (EnPIs), ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Compliance & Reliability: We have a structured process for meeting and exceeding all applicable energy-related legal and regulatory requirements. This proactive compliance reduces risk and reinforces our reputation as a responsible and reliable business partner.
The Foundation of Our Energy Management
ISO 50001 is built on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle for continual improvement. This systematic approach ensures energy management is integrated into our daily operational processes:
- Plan: We establish an Energy Policy and Energy Baseline. This includes conducting an Energy Review to analyze current and historical energy use, identify Significant Energy Uses (SEU), and set measurable energy objectives and targets.
- Do: We implement the EnMS by rolling out Action Plans for improvement. This may involve implementing energy-efficient technologies, improving operational controls, and training staff.
- Check: We monitor and measure results by tracking energy performance against the established baseline, conducting internal audits, and evaluating compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act: We ensure continual improvement through Management Review, where top management assesses EnMS performance and initiates corrective actions to continually enhance overall energy performance and efficiency.
