Become an Accent-TS Certified Lead Verifier/Validator and gain the specialized competence to plan, execute, and lead assurance engagements for environmental, climate change, and sustainability claims, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventories. This certification validates your expertise in providing credible, independent, and effective verification/validation services.
What You Will Achieve
This scheme certifies your ability to:
- Lead Assurance Engagements: Direct and manage the entire verification or validation process, ensuring conformity with standards like ISO 14064 (GHG Quantification and Reporting), ISO 14065 (Verification Bodies), and related frameworks.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Critically evaluate complex environmental and sustainability data, documentation, and claims to ensure they are materially correct, complete, and transparent.
- Provide Credible Assurance: Deliver objective conclusions that build trust and meet the reporting requirements of stakeholders, regulators, and voluntary schemes.

- Training Course in Relevant Standard for 40h
Applicants for certification must meet one of the following criteria:
- Provide a document Possess a practical knowledge necessary to effectively verification or validation
- Have conducted at least one Validation/ Verification provided log
- Applicant sign an Experience Declaration form (Accent-TS Attached Form)
Part 1:
- ISO 14066:2023 is Environmental information — Competence requirements for teams validating and verifying environmental information.
Part 2:
- ISO 14065:2020 is General principles and requirements for bodies validating and verifying environmental information.
